Postcards of spring in Hong Kong
Spring should have started since March, however the temperature remained around 10-15c and the sun liked playing hide and seek to us.
The game has now ended. The sun, fog and flowers hang out altogether. People may think of going to Japan, Korea and Taiwan for cherry blossom while Hong Kong is an alternative.
But how long will this spring last? In the coming weeks (10-17 April), the temperatures will be above 20c and the highest point be around 27c. The life of the season may be short like sakura. Now you can see people on the street wearing summer clothes and even with flip-flops.
In Instagram, I saw a thread from a university student who would choose to capture the precious moment when fog suddenly covered the city, rather than attending school lessons. There are so many beautiful things that last not long and never happen once again. That’s why some people seems to be irrational and crazy when they realize they should do something important for them. Short and uncertain human life can push us forward.
