Urban Sketchers London — St Pancras (and other sketches done before)
In May this year, Urban Sketchers London event was held in St Pancras where I have been to many times and have had a lot of sketches so far, but there are still lots to sketch due to wide ranges of places which are worth visiting, from King’s Cross and St Pancras International, to Coal Drops Yard and Regent’s Canal.
First sketch: Coal Drops Yard in the morning
I was reluctant to sketch Coal Drops Yard because I thought I did before, but looking up my photos I did on other sides and downstairs, so I tried upstairs to have an overview, in front of the sun to feel warmer under the windy morning (the position I stood was less windy thankfully). I ended up finishing it in an hour and 15 minutes.

Afternoon sketch
After throw down at 1pm, I walked around to see what I could do, and decided to sketch inside St Pancras International station instead of King’s Cross, which I have wanted to for long. I also realized that I could put the elements I preferred: the train, wordings (“I want my time with you.”), two sculptures, as well as some sketchers there.

Afterwards
We enjoyed in the pub after sketching, as usual.
I had a dinner at Sushinoya, which is the premium version of, and owned by Wasabi. The quality is so great and it’s worth trying sometimes even though it’s expensive (£13).
Thanks to the nice sunny weather I walked to Camden Road and went back home through Stratford to skip zone 1 and find passengers to sketch.
