Running habit for more than 5 years
I have been involved in my running habit for more than 5 years, according to the data from Strava.
My definition of habit is simple: at least once a week.
Streak for Strava does include any kind of activities while they can’t filter a certain type as requested by users like running itself, but most of the activities involved on Strava are running.
That said, there were two weeks in January I didn’t run, because I was seriously ill and had to lie on my bed. Other than that, I keep running at least once a week.
A habit refers to an activity that I don’t need to be reminded. Although I don’t have the routine like every Monday and Wednesday, I am conscious of when I will need to run, and I prefer doing in the early morning like from 7 to 8am, when there are not so many people or cars on the street, when people are walking the dogs. When the sky is full of colours.
