Apps for exploring London
There are some apps when you travel and even stay in London. Here is my list.

When the Light Breaks
It was the first time for me to watch Icelandic movie. When the Light Breaks is only 82 minutes long, which talks about the grief of a group of young people after their (boy)friend died in an explosion in a tunnel, when he (Diddi) was heading to the airport flying west to break up with his current girlfriend, Klana, so that he can continue his relationship with another girl he really loves, Una.

My longest run ever: 32km
Last Friday, I ran for 32km, breaking the previous three records of 30 and 31km which were done in 2022 and 2023.

On note taking apps and AI
Some of us have already built our own database when we can google anything we want. With the introduction of AI, we are not only able to find the answers from AI, but the app can also save our conversations and information with titles automatically generated for looking back afterwards just in case.
I sometimes think, will we no longer need note taking apps?

Urban Sketchers London — St Pancras (and other sketches done before)
In May this year, Urban Sketchers London event was held in St Pancras where I have been to many times and have had a lot of sketches so far, but there are still lots to sketch due to wide ranges of places which are worth visiting, from King’s Cross and St Pancras International, to Coal Drops Yard and Regent’s Canal.

The importance of walking in the city
Through walking and even sketching on the street, you will understand the communities rather than just “know”, like you will have an idea like how safe the streets are.

Vulnerability is not necessarily bad!
Vulnerability is inevitable in our life. Ignoring it won’t make vulnerability fade away, and in fact, being vulnerable is not totally a bad thing.

Parthenope (film)
If you watch the trailer of Parthenope, you may think that it's just a very typical film talking about a beautiful girl who has comparative advantages and popularity in society. The movie, in fact, is about humanity from the point of view of the girl's life.

What if a male is sexually assaulted?
Sexual assault does not only happen to females, but also males.
Yesterday afternoon just after school, when I entered into a toilet, which shares the same building with a cafe in a park, peeing in the only shared urinal which allows maximum of two persons at the same time, a guy came close to me.

The purpose of organising our own digital contents
Remember, it doesn't matter how tidy your digital space is, because this is not the end product we need to have, but your satisfaction when you are moving data having new ways of looking and seeing!

Rational dress nowadays
I love to see how people can make sandals become the shoes which are no longer limited to swimming and at home: comfortable, practical and even more fashionable, elegant in different circumstances. A kind of creativity that should be encouraged!

The Secret app — the most meaningful and authentic travel guide created by doers and creators
I am pleased to become one of the doers/creators of The Secret App, which is composed of amazing people curating nice places in cities where they are based in.

Mental capital
Of course I am not a sociologist so I can't justify the idea of mental capital, but I will regard it as a reminder for me to not care too much about money and productivity, which are very important but only the SECOND most important, as mental health is always my top priority. Without it, you can't have money and productivity.
Drawing the sky view of London in Horizon 22 again
There are a lot of viewing platforms in London, and some of them are free. Of them my favourite is Horizon 22 which is now the highest in the city. I made the second visit and sketched the same view again.

A flight without entertainment and internet
Don’t forget we have choice: don’t let technology replace offline lifestyle, and we can have both.

17 April 2025
The key message is that when we are more willing to aware of the surrounding environment and ourselves, we will never lose the ability to learn and adapt, and see life is full of options.

Curiosity instead of restriction to deal with “addictive” social media
The approaches of restricting or banning the use of social media make sense, but can’t fix the root cause because we will be vulnerable to social media again.
A trip to Portsmouth, Gosport and Bognor Regis
Under such the perfect weather in early April, I had a trip which was a little bit different because of visiting more than one place/town at once instead. I started from Portsmouth and ended in Bognor Regis.

Why Apple Notes (2)?
A good app does not need you to do extra things while your life can continue as usual. It won’t undermine your ability but will make you better instead. Apple Notes can really achieve that.

Four Mothers
Four Mothers is an Irish movie about an author called Edward who recently published a fiction about two men reflecting some current social structures. His publisher wants to arrange him for a book tour in the US.
The comedy movie also reveals some social phenomena that I can think of.
